Senior Dress Closet – Open by Appointment

The RHS white dress closet has helped many seniors find their perfect dress. We’ve continued to receive donations and encourage anyone still in need of a dress to schedule an appointment.

Alumni Legacy Photo

The 2025 RHS Alumni Legacy Photo will take place on Wednesday, June 11th at 6:15 PM (Rain date Thursday, June 12th). We ask all RHS alumni with graduating seniors to arrive by 6 PM and proudly wear your favorite Ridgewood High School gear.

SENIOR AWARDS

The senior award ceremony will be at 7pm on June 10th and located in the Campus Center.

Graduation Practice

There will be two (2) mandatory graduation practices. Both practices will be held in the Campus Center.

An outdoor practice will be held on Tuesday, June 17th

An indoor practice will be held on Wednesday, June 18th

Both practices will start promptly at 1:30 P.M.

Grad Attire - Tuxedos

Seniors wearing tuxedos are required to wear a white tuxedo jacket with a standard white dress shirt (not a tuxedo shirt), and black shoes and socks (not included in tuxedo rental fee). Tuxedos must be picked up from Biltmore Tuxedos, located at 36 E. Ridgewood Avenue, after the indoor practice on Wednesday, June 18th.

In order to pick up a tuxedo, each senior must have a blue receipt indicating that the rental fee for the tuxedo has been paid in full. Blue receipts will be handed out after the indoor practice.

Tuxedos must be returned by Friday, June 20th, or there will be a $10 late fee charged per day.

Grad Attire - dresses

Seniors wearing dresses are required to wear a white dress, preferably a long gown, shoes should be neutral, not a "color", so as not to distract from the procession. Heels are not recommended, but if any senior is concerned about heels on the turf field, they may go to the field and test out their shoes before graduation day.

Each senior wearing a dress will be given a dozen red roses to carry when they assemble in the Campus Center prior to graduation.

Students are not permitted to wear sunglasses or hats during the ceremony.

Graduation Date: June 19, 2025

Dinner Dance and Project Graduation

Graduates will be transported to and from the Dinner Dance by chartered bus.

After the dance, they will be transported to Project Graduation at BFMS.

Important - In order to attend the all night PG 25 party at BFMS, seniors must attend the graduation ceremony and the Dinner Dance.

If graduates choose to leave Project Graduation, they will not be permitted to return. Project Graduation will take no further responsibility for the safety and supervision of any graduate who has chosen to leave the party. Parents will be notified if a graduate leaves earlier than 3:00 A.M.

Fines and Fees

Wristband passes will be distributed following the indoor rehearsal.

Wristband passes are issued ONLY to students with no disciplinary or financial obligations, this includes: flowers, tuxedos, library, textbooks, and activity fees.

All outstanding debts may be checked through Skyward.

A list of Outstanding debts will be available after the indoor rehearsal. Students should bring a check made out to "Ridgewood Board of Education" to fulfill financial obligations.

* Students who settle any fines after the master list is printed must bring the receipts or notes from or notes from their teachers. Any questions about a fine should be addressed to the person assigning the fine (i.e., teacher, coach, librarian), or if not available, that person's supervisor.

Wristband Passes and Seating

Each senior will receive two (2) wristband passes for reserved outdoor seating in the west side bleachers along the Ho-Ho-Kus Brook. Seating will begin after 4:00 pm on graduation day and no one will be allowed to sit earlier.

Wristband passes will be distributed following the indoor rehearsal.

All other seating in the East Side bleachers and along Heermance Place, is open to the public.

Anyone with handicap assistance may sit along the track with one (1) person to accompany them.

Please be advised that Heermance Place will be closed to all traffic by 3:00 P.M. if you need to drop someone off, please do so and remove your car before it is closed.

Pavers by Graduation!

Now you can commemorate your child’s RHS graduation by purchasing your own personalized brick paver. These bricks will line the walkways of our campus and honor the past and the future of RHS.

Deadline for RHS Seniors:

If you want your brick on the campus walkway in time for RHS graduation, you must place your order by Friday, March 14th.

Internet Streaming of Graduation

The Little Theatre will be open and streaming the graduation live, for those who wish to watch the event in an air-conditioned space starting at 4:00 P.M. Tickets are not needed. It will be first come first served.

For friends and family who wish to watch the graduation from the comfort of their own home, the ceremony can be viewed from the following link starting at 4:00 P.M. RHS LIVE STREAM

Even if the weather is clear, there is a chance for the lightning detection system to sound the siren if the lightning is detected in the area. The ceremony must be delayed at least thirty (30) minutes after the last detection. If it is necessary to move the ceremony indoors to the gymnasium, an announcement will be placed on the District website and an automated call will be placed to all homes.

Graduation Photography
